Safety is very important to the Complete Driveway Designs team. We like to do everything to the highest possible standards, as you can see in our case studies, and our dedication to health and safety is an example of this. When you’re using specialist equipment and excavating – as we do when we’re installing a pattern imprinted concrete driveway – you’ve got to be careful.

Obviously, installing a pattern imprinted concrete driveway isn’t really a DIY task. But we know that a lot of our customers enjoy working on their homes themselves. And to those of you who are avid DIYers, we’ve got two words of advice: stay safe.

There’s no point risking your own safety. It can be as simple as putting on a pair of goggles if you’re doing something where there’s a risk of particles getting in your eyes. According to the College of Optometrists, there are about 30,000 eye-accidents a year due to DIYers forgetting to put their goggles on.

If there’s a task that you’re at all hesitant about doing – something big, like installing a pattern imprinted concrete driveway or patio – it’s best to leave it to the professionals.
