There is, to use a traditional phrase from the North West, nowt quite as queer as folk. That said, we’ve yet to find anyone who actively enjoys weeding their front garden. And ditto trying to get rid of weeds growing through driveway surfaces like loose gravel or block paving. Weedkiller works sometimes, but manual labour is the only real answer. Of course, some people don’t mind about weeds, but if you’re one of the people who does, they can be a real nightmare.
